The Forest of Elwynn is a sacred forest in the Princely Precinct which is known as the Emirate of Alalehzamin and Utasia. It is one of the Four Forests and has a tremendous historical, religioius and cultural value to the people of the Flower of the North.
Name
The Forest of Elwynn was named after the Goddess Elwynn by the Treesian God Utas.
History
In days long gone by, the Forest of Elwynn covered most of Alalehzamin and Utasia, Araxion, Eliria as well as the southern portion of Íseirdia-la-Vraulalennir. As mentioned in the First Part of the Book of the Orchids, the Lady Divine Elwynn grew happily up in the Araxionian part of the forest in the days of yore and ancient lore.
Except for what nowadays constitutes the Forest of Araxion, the Forest of Elwynn of ancient lore vanished completely during the Ardashirian reign due to deforestation policies.
Recent Events

The spot chosen by the Emira of Alalehzamin and Utasia, the Lady Noor bint Daniyal Ayrepn-Kalirion, for the re-afforestation is situated just slightly north of Saint Zor, following the White Elwynn up to the point of Timothea.
Past and Present Composition
In the days of lore and legend the northern portion of the Forest of Elwynn was composed of fir and spruce, and of mountain birch beyond the tree line. In the south the Forest of Elwynn of ancient lore consisted of beech, ash and elm, as well as olive trees and cedars.
The newly afforested Forest of Elwynn is composed of the following tree species: beech, ash, aspen, elm and oak.
