NOOR AS-SALAAM, by the Kharenah of Zurvan, Qaisar Baanooye Sathratiye, to her subjects and retainers, greetings, and unto the gods of Shireroth undying and unthinking obsequience.

Know that We, Mibaradardam be Khorshid va Mah Minamaz dadanam Zurvan, have in the first place dedicated to Zurvan this Decree which by his Kharenah is confirmed for Us and our heirs forever.


IMPERIAL DECREE 884
In the Event of Our Death

Section 1. Effect

  1. Should We die during Our reign, the subsequent subsections of this section and the subsequent sections of the present Imperial Decree shall govern the matters relating to Our death.
  2. Should We die outside the Imperial Republic, a notice of Our death shall be sent to the Imperial Government, which shall furnish the Landsraad with the notice, a report on the circumstances of the same, and a recommendation to the Landsraad to either accept or reject the notice of Our death. The Landsraad, having examined the Imperial furnishing, discussed it, shall vote on whether to accept or reject the notice. In the event of acceptance of the notice, We shall, for purposes of Imperial Succession, be dead from that moment on. Should the Landsraad reject the notice, We remain legally alive, whatever the actual circumstances of Our vivacity.
  3. Should We die within the Imperial Republic, normal procedures to confirm the death of a Kaiser apply for the purposes of Imperial succession.


Section 2. No effect of Last Will and Testament.
Our Last Will and Testament of 23 Fasmas 1637, as amended twice on the Apollonian sectorial date of 6230, and later by clause 3 of Imperial Decree 850, shall, in the event of Our death during Our reign, have no legal effect whatsoever. It shall be considered void and replaced by the subsequent sections of the present Imperial Decree. The provisions on inheritance contained in the Contract of Our Matrimony with His Majesty the King of the Elwynn remains intact.

Section 3. Executors of Our Estate
Appointed as Executors of Our Estates in various jurisdictions:

  1. In the Imperial Dominions: The Government of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth..
  2. In the Elwynnese Union: ESB-Jörmungandr Group
  3. In the Kingdom of Goldshire: ESB-Jörmungandr Group
  4. In the Kingdom of Lichbrook: The Countess of Amarr
  5. In the High Realm of Stormark: The Congregation of the Temple of the Lakes, at Haraldsborg.
  6. In the Bovic Empire of the Natopian Nation: The incumbent Emperor or Empress of the Natopians
  7. In all other jurisdictions: The Government of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth.

If any executor is unwilling or unable to perform, then, whatever the jurisdiction, the Government of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth shall act in that Executor's stead.

Section 4. Funeral

  1. The costs of the funeral shall, as a state funeral of a reigning Kaiseress, be assumed by the Imperial Republic.
  2. We shall lie in state for at least two Apollonian sectorial units of time in The Keep.
  3. A commitment of Our remains, in the Holodomatic rites of Elwynnist Zurvanism, shall be held for Us in the Valley of Mors, attended by Our family and by such guests deemed appropriate by the Imperial Government.
  4. A memorial stone shall be raised, once the commitment of Our remains is complete, upon that very place of commitment. The stone shall be an obelisk of Zy-Rodunian marble, and carry Our full name in the Babkhi language, followed by the years of Our birth and death, and any other inscriptions that the Imperial Government may see fit to add.

Section 5. Succession to the Kaisership
The provisions of Imperial Decree 724 (of 12 Vixaslaa 1622) apply, unless, by Imperial Decree, We have, before Our death, named an Heir designate to the Golden Mango Throne.

Section 6. Succession to Imperial Titles
The succession to all Our Shirerithian titles derived by Imperial grant is governed by the Emirati Decree, entitled Act on Succession, of 19 Oskalteq 1638.

Section 7. Other Titles
The succession to all Our other titles is governed by the applicable law for that particular title. Where there is a possibility for Us to specifically wish for a successor where We are unable to designate one Ourselves, We wish, as far as legally possible, to uphold the personal union between that particular title and the Imperial Emirate of Sathrati.

Section 8. Guardians for Minor Children
As Guardian, on behalf of The Mother, for Our Children still not of adult age, We appoint, jointly, Her Imperial Highness The Lady Isabella, The Khanum of Erianamor, and His Excellency Armin Jamal-Arminzadeh, The Count of Suthergold.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF We have caused the Imperial Seal to be affixed to this Decree which We have signed with Our Hand. Given at the Keep this twenty-second day of Fasmas in the year after the death of Norton one thousand six hundred and forty-seven.
