The Scribe of Raynor's Keep is the head of the Tower of Bureaucratic Despair, to unforgiving bureaucrats also known as Tower of Sardonic Joy, and qualitate qua a member of the Imperial Advisory Council as well as a senior official of the Imperial Household and Heritage of the Golden Mango Throne.
History
The office was instituted in 6206 ASC by the decree of Kaiser Hjalmar. The office was decreed into existence to improve Imperial record-keeping, with the Kaiser stating in the decree of establishment:
"Insomuch Kaiseral record-keeping has during the long history of Imperial Republic of Shireroth ofttimes suffered from the disinterest, laziness and incompetence of several occupants of the Golden Mango Throne, We do by this Our Imperial Instrument create the office of Scribe of Raynor's Keep to alleviate the effects of such Kaisers."
Powers and Duties
