The Monarchy of Elwynn

The legal and cultural term Royal Family of Elwynn denotes the Ruling Dynasty of the Flower of the North. The Royal Family of Elwynn is headed by the King of Elwynn. It is also known as the House of Orchids.

Membership

Nowadays one can only become a member of the Royal Family of Elwynn, unless the King provides otherwise, if one is a child or grandchild of a member of the Royal Family aforesaid. Individuals who marry a member of the Royal Family of the Jewel of Many Facets may, upon being joined in holy matrimony or thereafter, also be admitted to the membership of the Royal Family of Elwynn.

Kingly Powers of Protection

The King of Elwynn has the power to, by ordinance, make rules and regulations which have the force of law, with power to attach penalties for their infringement, to protect the Royal Family's ancient rights, privileges, free customs, honour, dignity, peace, order and welfare, to protect its official documents and patrimony as well as the private papers and property of its members, and to protect itself and its members against any person or persons interfering with, molesting, harrassing, threatening or attempting to intimidate them in their pursuit of happiness and liberté de vivre.

Titles

Any member of the Royal Family of Elwynn, except for the King of Elwynn and Zir Lady Wife Mortal, who have Their very own set of titles, is entitled to the following titles:

  • Prince(ss) of Elwynn;
  • Llængjarl(a) of Elwynn;
  • Counte(ss) of Northshire;
  • Counte(ss) of Arietta;
  • Counte(ss) of the Lady Esther Isles.

In addition to the aforesaid titles, the member of the Royal Family of Elwynn who is the heir apparent to the White Orchid Throne also bears the title of Prince of Amokolia. Likewise, do the persons who are second, third and fourth in line to the aforesaid Kingly Throne of Elwynn bear the titles of Earl of Anglia, Earl of Markland and Earl of Lyonesse respectively.
