Froyalan was the name of the Duchy of Elwynn during the Ducal Reign of Duke Harald of Froyalan (1533-1542), a period in Elwynnese history which to the Froyalanish and the Wintergleamish is known as the Nine Years of Gold.
Nowadays the name Froyalan refers to the areas where the Froyalanish, one of the Twelve Peoples of Elwynn, constitute the majority of the population.
The Lands of Froyalan
The area known as Froyalan includes, but is not limited to:
- The Seven Ports;
- The northern coast of Amokolia, as well as the islands along that shore;
- The western part of Amokolia, which is also known as the Furthest of the Far West;
- The Pale of Angularis;
- Jorvik;
- Arietta;
- The Lady Esther Isles.
