Barony

A Barony is one of the many kinds of subdivisions of a Duchy one can make. Currently not a position of much significance, since Barons can't speak in the Landsraad any more than a commoner. However, the position is recognised by Imperial Law and is a part of the feudal system, so it is a meaningful form of organisation (and will become more meaningful if we get a few barons in here again).

Elwynn

(previously Froyalan, previously the Boreal-Elwynnese Duchy)

By decree of the duke, Elwynn is no longer divided into baronies, only earldoms. Before that decision, the duchy was divided into the baronies of Opplysta Smørvirket, Elw and Fórntida Kærleikalanden.

Straylight

Straylight's unique culture based on it's Sancts does not lend itself to Baronies. The Duchy does contain two Counties.
