Caeol's Village was a village that was named after the magician Caeol, a woman who had asked Kaiser Erik II for a safe place to live. In those days it was forbidden for magical creatures to enter the capital, but thanks to the village, its habitants were able to live under the protection of the Crown, without having to provocate the population which didn't trust them.

Nowadays it's a part of Shirekeep, but it's still a popular resort for wizards and witches. The Order of Maju considered locating their here, but reconsidered after some locals asked not to do so to avoid that non-magical citizens would get upset.
