The Isle of Yardistan (Yardistani: Islr dIardista ['is.lr̥ djaɹ'di.stə]), also sometimes referred to as The Yard, is a large island to the south-east of Brookshire. It should be differentiated from the Duchy of Yardistan, which comprises many separate islands and territories. It is the main island of the Duchy and seat of the Duchy Proper. The isle makes up the whole of the County of Yardistan.
Historically, the isle used to be all there was to Yardistan. As it grew to become a Duchy, it remained the seat of the anarch.
On the MCS map, it is located to the south east of Brookshire, in between Mirioth and Istvanistan Island.
