Angsax Ingetheod Cynwise means Anglo-Saxon National Commonwealth in the Froyalanish and Wintergleamish languages. It was the name of an Anglo-Saxon country on Apollonia of Jorvik was once part and nowadays is the name of one of the cardinal directions of Elwynn.

History

In the latter days of his period of ruling Stewardship the Storjarl Hallbjörn Haraldsson gave the cardinal direction in which Jorvik lies the name Angsax Ingetheod Cynwise in honour of the aforesaid former Anglo-Saxon country.
