IMPERIAL DECREE 813: Appointment of Inquisitor

Hear! Hear!

WHEREAS the Office of Inquisitor has remained vacant for quite some time, and it has affected the proceedings of the Imperial Judex, which We deem so important for the proper administration of justice and the interpretation of the laws and statutes of this Imperial Republic;

LET IT BE KNOWN that We wish to by this Imperial Instrument create and prefer Our most trusted and beloved subject Dr. Heath J. Belledin be now appointed to serve as the Imperial Inquisitor;

LET IT BE KNOWN that We will work with the Imperial Inquisitor to develop a code of civil and criminal procedure that will enshrine our most cherished legal traditions formally into a bill for the consideration of the Landsraad.
