[edit]The Dinarchy of Antica [edit]The Early Days Entropious began her career in the micronational world as a lowly citizen of the Dinarchy of Antica. She was introduced to Antica by friend and fellow high school band member, Oric. After applying for citizenship, Entropious was quickly welcomed into Antica by then-Dinarch, Octavius,and many other friendly citizens.
The first, innocent poster.Though eager to participate, Entropious was initially very timid in her actions within the Dinarchy. Thus, she spent most of her first month lying low and observing the actions of her fellow citizens, to get a better feel for the whole idea of micronationalism. However, as July came to a close, Entropious was approached by her old friend Oric, with a request for her to complete his chancelletorial ticket in the upcoming election. After learning that she would have very few responsibilities if elected, Entropious gladly signed on and quickly produced what was to be come her most (in)famous contribution to the Dinarchy - campaign posters. Thanks to Entropious' brilliant MSPaint skills and excellence as a propagandist, the Oric-Entropious campaign easily crushed the wordier, less energized, and most importantly, less publicized campaigns of Steven and Foghorn.
However, despite the success of the Chancelletorial elections, things were not well within the Dinarchy. Thus, after a happy series of events, most of which were set in motion my tensions that had been grown long before her arrival, Antica split. Entropious, fairly well aware (but never really involved) of the plans, quickly resigned her rather meaningless position and, on August 31, 2005, joined her comrades in the Republic of Antica.
[edit]The Republic of Antica Shortly after joining the Republic, Entropious, along with Steven, Olorix and Chris, was nominated for the position of Speaker of the Assembly. Not even voting for herself, she was crushed in the polls, receiving only one vote. During Chris' Administration, she became the nation's first Chief Administrative Officer, a position she held throughout the following administrations of Steven and Olorix.
The high level of political sophistication needed to win an Antican Election[edit]Speakership
After entering the election at the last moment, Entropious, like independent candidate Nendemar, was disregarded as a major player, as most attention was focused upon Foghorn and Careless. However, due to an interesting turn of events, Entropious emerged as the victor in the most contested election in Antican history. Due to the high level of competition, she was the only candiate to gain the Speakership by winning a plurality rather than the majority of votes cast. While this caused some to question the legitmacy of her victory and call for a runoff, such doubts were quickly cast aside.
Entropious' term was marked by unprecendeted stability and was relatively uneventful. However, that's not say nothing at all happened. The primary periods of interest include:
- the conclusion of Delphi's trial in Shireroth - Cloakroom law disputes, culminating into Gemini and Careless' posts of prostest within the cloakroom, and latter's subsequent removal from the cabinet - the introduction of the economy - consitutional discussion - Treaty Negotiations with Shireroth - expansion and devlopment of the Non-Aligned Movement by CRO Maggern
Unlike her fellow Speakers, past and present, Entropious’ guiding philosophy was that rather than following the path blazed by an independent Speaker, the Republic should proceed through consensus based decisions, with occasional guidance by the Speaker.
[edit]Random Facts That Will Have No Impact Upon Your Life Entropious served as the the first female Chancellor of the Dinarchy of Antica. Her thirteen minute term was consequently also the shortest Chancelletorial term in history.
Entropious was the longest serving Speaker of the Republic of Antica. Her term lasted three months and one day.
The Juvenescent Echelon's Socialistically Unified Sodality, co-founded by Entropious, is the most successful party in the Republic of Antica. Unlike its competitors the PFNP and NWP, every candidate fielded to date has garnered a position out of his or her respective elections.
