The Anti-Tymar Council was an organisation originally created by Eoin Dornan satirically in April 2002, but quickly hijacked by anti-Tymarian factions led by Harvey Steffke, whose lieutenant in the organisation was Bill Dusch. The Council asserted that the United Republic should be dissolved and its constituent micronations, notably Shireroth, be returned to the independence enjoyed prior to the creation of the union in September 2001.

While a primarily Shirerithian device, the Council enjoyed limited moral support from the Treesian Intelligence Agency. The Agency's director, Iain de Vembria, according to Agency records, noted that his agency "can be both for and against at the same time ... some of our goals might ... be similar, but I would like to think our methods are more amenable and more likely to work."

The Council did attract renowned troublemakers in the micronational community, such as Yuri Andropov; however, for the most part the council was merely a platform from which Steffke and Dusch, both prominently known for their anti-Tymarian sentiments, could voice their opposition to Tymaria's continued existence.

The Anti-Tymar Council found little attention from those outside of Shireroth given that Steffke and Dusch had poor standing throughout the intermicronational community. Indeed, the Council, while receiving some attention from the Tymarian government as a potential threat, was also largely ignored at the federal level. Shirerithian historical sources imply that the Council was popular and widespread intermicronationally; however, little evidence exists that such was the case beyond that micronation's borders.
