IMPERIAL DECREE Nº 730
ON ABOLISHING TAXATION AND CUTTING GOVERNMENT SPENDING

It is the decision of this administration to deviate from the road that the previous Kaiser has put us on. It is our strong belief that the excessive spending by the government, as a direct result of Imperial Decree 709, has not been in the benefit of Shireroth and it's people. For this reason, I hereby announce the following changes in our economic policy.
1. Abolishing Taxation
All taxation, be it on a individual or corporate level, will hereby be abolished. The Imperial Republic of Shireroth does not tax its citizens. Confiscation of money needs to be approved by the Kaiser.
2. Government Salaries
All salaries for members of government or those who hold a public office in Shireroth will be reduced to zero erb. The only exception being the Malarborist. The office of Malarborist will be an open office, everyone who writes a Malarbor announcement will, if the contents are appropriate, receive a government grant of 100 erb per announcement. The frequency for Malarbor announcements will be limited to no more than one announcement per three days.
3. Innovation
In accordance to this administration's desire for innovation, a special fund will be established, intended for bonusses and rewards for those who strengthen the Imperial Republic. The Imperial Government will add 500 erb per 25 ASC years to this fund.
Point 1 of his decree becomes active directly following the upcoming Charter reform. The budget for April, as ratified by the Landsraad, will still be executed as a remnant of the previous administration. This decree effectively repeals monetary decisions 1 to 4 from Imperial Decree 709.
