Hierogamy

Hierogamy is a sacred marriage between a ruler and a God or Goddess. In Elwynn this cultural term denotes the Wedding of Kingship between the White Orchid Goddess and the King of Elwynn that takes place during the Konungstekja, the coronation ceremony of the holder of the White Orchid Throne.
