The Prefect of Shirekeep (before 4290 ASC called theLord Mayor) is the, by the Kaiser appointed, ruler of the Imperial County.

The Prefectoral Palace in the Boreal Quarter of Shirekeep is the administrative center of the Prefect and his administration.
