Imperial Decree 46
Issued by Steward Nikkolo I
Again, the Original is lost to the ravages of time, but the historian tells us:
"Nick understood even better than Letifer (Kaiser Letifer I,ed.) the need for sweeping changes. The first problem he needed to confront was confusion over who had what job, who was still a citizen, and who was gone never to return. In Imperial Decree 46 he asked everyone with a job to tell him or else lose it. Those who did not show up were fired. The second problem he needed to confront was the expiration the Gold status of the boards, which was managed with a little bit of help from his friends."
Nikkolo emailed all known members of Shireroth at the time calling them home to declare their jobs. The text of that email read as follows:
To Retain Jobs:
Steward’s Decree #46 proclaims that all Citizens with Jobs must return to the Shirerothian EzBoard and Claim their jobs. This applies to any job you may, whether you are a Minister, Duke, Baron, or Thane. Certain jobs have been destroyed (MiniTech is now gone), and certain Jobs are now filled (Steward, Prætor). To claim your job:
- Go to the Shirerothian EzBoard @ http://pub9.ezboard.com/bshireroth. Replying to this e-mail will not work.
- Go to the General Forum.
- In the appropriate thread, claim your jobs. You do not have to claim all or any of your jobs.
- Citizens who do not comply with this decree or who opt not to keep their jobs will lose them, effective 14 January 2003. Those people that claim jobs but are not considered active will lose their jobs at the same date, as well as afterward.
This decree, along with Imperial Decree 44 established Oustfest.
