Storjarl means "great jarl" in the Froyalanish and Wintergleamish languages. It is an historic and ancient title which is borne by the members of the Imperial Branch of the House of Ettlingar Freyu - save the High King, Zir Spouse Mortal and the Heir to the Longships Throne - and originates in Valtia.
