Bovinism is a cult within the Cedrist religion. The cult worships the Butter Cow. It has its beginning in Natopia where the Butter Cow was the news mascot for the original Natopian forums. A fanatical devotion to the Cow developed in Natopia and after its collapse the successor state of Athlon adopted the Butter Cow as the focal point of its new religious culture. The cult is the official religion of the County of Smjörkýr.
The Book of Doctrine contains stories, parables, and the law as given by the Butter Cow to the pentheros and prophet of the faith, Nathan Shepard.
