The Vineta Temple, also known as Hvíturtemplet, which means "white temple" in the Froyalanish and Wintergleamish languages, was a Vanic Temple situated on the outskirts of the Tuulersbýur.

History

The temple was built by King Arkadius I of Batavia as a gift for his Queen Consort Lafði Ærinndís des Vinandy of Ettlingar Freyu - who is the sister of Harald of Ettlingar Freyu - after She had given birth to their daughter Princess Fränzi-Ferdinanda, who would many years later would become Queen Regnant of Batavia.

Due to the many woes and turmoils the Kingdom of Batavia went through in the latter years of its existence, the Vineta Temple was abandoned and fell into disrepair. Subsequent to the Furthest of the Far West, the Lady Elwynn Herself ordered King Noah of Elwynn to reconstruct the temple. The King, of course, happily obliged. The Vineta Temple is these present days solely dedicated to the White Orchid Goddess.

The Vineta Temple is the first temple which Fjǫrleif Llængjarla of the Houses of Ayreon-Kalirion and of the Descendants of Freyja consecrated after she had become the High Priestess of the Mackerel Temple. The temple and its premises are considered by the Vanafolk to be among the holiest places of the Furthest of the Far West.

The site was demolished on the orders of Waldemar Zinkgraven in 1653 to permit the construction of a new over-the-horizon radar for MoMA Station Tuulersbýur.
