(preamble)

Liv Dravot, Steward of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth, gives praise to the gods of the many Shirerithian Peoples in the name of:

AYREON IV, by the Kharenah of Zurvan, Qaisar Sathratiye, who, by this Imperial Decree, gives unto his subjects and retainers, greetings, and unto the gods of Shireroth, undying and unthinking obsequience.

Know that We, Mibaradardam be Khorshid va Mah Minamaz dadanam Zurvan, have in the first place dedicated to Zurvan this Decree which by his Kharenah is confirmed for Us and our heirs forever.

IMPERIAL DECREE 982: Against Memetic Contagion

  1. Any person who, being a citizen, denizen or loyal subject, of the Imperial Republic, is observed or discerned to have written or given voice to the following words or phrases in the course of their life, whether on official business or otherwise, shall be investigated by the Imperial Marshals and the Vigiles Arcani for memetic contagion, moral corruption and possible daemonic possession:
    1. "aformentioned"
    2. "aforesaid"
    3. "Love's Great Adventure"
    4. "to wit"
  2. Any person thus identified may be referred to the Inquisitors if a crime is discerned or else made subject to immediate preventative measures if daemonic possession is confirmed.
  3. The list may be revised by rescript as circumstances warrant and as new examples come to light.
  4. Those obligated with the drafting of official decrees, ordinances and edicts are exempted from these provisions owing to necessarily archaic nature of the verbiage they must wrestle with.

IN WITNESS OF THE SUBLIME MAGNIFICENCE OF OUR LORD THE RADIANT SUN WHEREOF
We have caused the Seal of Our Imperial Ministry to be affixed to this Decree which We have signed with Our Hand
Given at the Keep this 14th Day of Rugaall in the year after the death of Norton one thousand six hundred and fifty three.
