Imperial Decree 893

NOOR AS-SALAAM, by the Kharenah of Zurvan, Qaisar Baanooye Sathratiye, to her subjects and retainers, greetings, and unto the gods of Shireroth undying and unthinking obsequience.

Know that We, Mibaradardam be Khorshid va Mah Minamaz dadanam Zurvan, have in the first place dedicated to Zurvan this Decree which by his Kharenah is confirmed for Us and our heirs forever.

Honour in Service

Such person who is not of noble dignity, and by zir free choice gives unto a person of noble dignity of the Imperial Republic full rights to zir body and labour and to the fruits of both body and labour enters into a feudal relationship to the noble to whom zie has given the rights, and shall be classed a Loyal Subject of the Kaiseress. Such a relationship may by the Noble in question be terminated or transferred to another Noble, provided that for either option, 5 days notice is given to the loyal subject in question.

To honour the sacrifice made by the free will of a loyal subject, the Priest of the Fire of Victory, Atash Behram Der Bareber Sathrati, shall perform a rite of celebrating that sacrificial soul, and inscribe zir name in a Scroll of Loyal Subjecthood including who their Noble of responsibility is. Upon termination, death or transfer of a loyal subject, the Scroll of Loyal Subjecthood shall accordingly be amended.

The Imperial Decree, numbered 4L27, is repealed in its entirety.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF We have caused the Imperial Seal to be affixed to this Decree which We have signed with Our Hand. Given at the Keep this tenth day of Elroqpinu in the year after the death of Norton one thousand six hundred and forty-seven.
