*OOC: Not a prob**The United Armies fly toward Goldshire, but Poet slows to a halt. Urging the others to go on, Poet turns from Goldshire, listening to the winds as he'd learned to do so long ago from his feathered brethren. Urging his bird forward, Poet flies towards a small distant light, like that of a campfire.*I am going to find out what's going on if its the last thing I do... ~The Solitary Poet of Delvenus

*Poet flies on, nearing the fire where he can now just make out the colors of the Golden Horde. Spying the pyre of a pillaged farmhouse below, Poet swoops down, snagging a flaming piece of wood before rising again.*(smiling) Now for a very small taste of your own medicine: death from above!*Having neared the enemy camp, Poet swoops down, flinging his firey weapon down on an unsuspecting tent. Screams quickly ensue as chaos breaks out, some trying to put out the fire as others run around mindlessly. Scanning the ground, Poet spies what he was looking for: the pompous outfit of a High Guard member, standing with three regular troops.*This is stupid, this is stupid, this is stupid.... (jumps off bird as it nears the ground) Geronimo!!!!!!!*Poet lands, rolling into a standing position mere feet from his prey. Reacting quickly, Poet dispatches two soldiers before they can reach for their weapons, slicing the third's gun in half before clubbing him with his sword.*(Mock bowing) Mr. Songbird, I assume.*Poet quickly clubs the High Guard member, picking up his unconscious form before raising his arm in the air, catching hold of his enormous avian friend's neck as he swoops by. Climbing up on the bird's back, Poet hauls his captive's still form up in front of him.*Well, that went better than expecte..... ack!*Poet leans forwardover his captive, lying close to the bird's form as blood starts to seep from his shoulder*Guess I spoke too soon. Well, nothing to do but finish my mission. (smirking) On Jeeves, to Goldshire Palace. Time for a little intel in this blasted war.*Poet holds on tightly with his uninjured arm as the bird flies toward the capital.* ~The Solitary Poet of Delvenus

*Annexes the "Mango-Camel Pact".**All copies of the pact instantaniously disappear from everywhere**The YAC begin their assualt of Goldshire Hamlet by annexing several advanced gun implacements**Tonerman, begins dareing hit-run raids on the YAC**With a band of 5 others Tonerman begins to assult an occupied building were he heard the YAC leadership were working from.**Killing 2 gaurds, Tonerman comes round a corner to find himself face to face with a YAC officer with an annexation ray pointed at him*Officer: "You know, you really are getting annoying... Prepare to Submit..."Tonerman: "Can we talk about this perhaps..."Officer: "No." *Fires the Yardistani Annexation Ray-Gun at Tonerman.**Tonerman tries to strugle against the effects of the YARG. But he soon submits since nothing can resist an Annexation.*Tonerman: *get's back up from the ground* "What is thy bidding, my master" *The men that came in with Tonerman are also Annexed and submit*Officer: "Get the battery..."Tonerman: "Yes, my master." *leaves with his men, plus a small contingent of YAC* *Tonerman is now armed with a YARG, and begins annexing anything that catches his fancy*1. Fish...1 Dog.. Oh look.. birds!.. *annexes the birds*4 Babkhans...Hey.. what are they doing here?Oh well.. *annexes the Babkhans*Let's see.. that's nice tree over there *annexes the tree*...Ack.. *After a flight that seemed to take forever, Poet finds himself gliding over Goldshire Castle. Ignoring the encampments around the castle out of sheer fatigue and blood loss, Poet urges his giant bird on, he and his prisoner slowly descending within the castle walls. Upon landing, Poet throws the High Guardsman off before sliding off the bird himself, both collapsing upon impact with the ground.*Poet: (Breathing hard) Medic!*A couple of guards run over, one picking Poet up by his uninjured arm as the other trains his gun on the High Guardsman.*Poet: He's not a threat right now, I threw his weapon away during the flight, and he's out like a candle. (grunts in pain) Drag his sorry carcass to a holding cell and notify anyone who might be good at interrogation. Go all the way to Lord Harvey if you have to, I can see his empathic abilities being a help in such a task.Guard: Yes sir!*The guard takes the prisoner by the leg, dragging him lazily on the ground as he walks off. Slowly, Poet and the other Guard walk (or rather hobble) into the castle, where Poet is placed with the injured under Lady Jadie's care.* ~The Solitary Poet of Delvenus

Battle hardened from their recent action in Treesia, the Babkhans were ready to face any threat. The infidels who dare attack Shireroth shall be punished ... severely. Rakesh looks around at people yelling about some annexation ray. He stares in bewilderment. "Annexation what? Bah, foreign sorcery no doubt. But foreign evil cannot and will not affect us. We are protected by a Higher Power!" And with that Rakesh looks to Heavens. The Lord had protected them in Treesia, He would take protect them here. "Sarhang Khan! Order the men to reinforce the defensive positions. Bring out the heavy weaponry - we will show the infidels why the world continues to tremble in fear at the mention of Babkha." Rakesh walks up the stairs to the top of the palace. He places the Imperial Flag of the Kingdom of Babkha with the Flag of Goldshire and the Imperial Flag of Shireroth. He also places the Great Flag of the Strapy of Razjania-Dehvaz. His forces were impervious to this annexation evil. They would be victorious ... no doubt. No doubt at all. GOD SAVE THE KAISERESS!GOD SAVE THE SHAH!

*Poet sits up, his shoulder bandaged, his eyes full of determination.*I have to help with this battle...*Poet grunts, getting to his feet while holding his arm still. Slowly, he walks out of the castle to a defensive position, where he hunkers down amidst his fellow Goldshirithians and Babkhans.*Swords won't do much against a foe that can annex them.
