Re: 2008: A World at War
OK... I want to run a little test. Does anybody here know anything about Iain Law? Does anyone have any idea why he decided to post on Shireroth? Has anybody seen him around here after he posted this message? If I asked him a question here, do you think he would answer it here? In order to find his equal, an Irishman is forced to talk to a Finn.

no, no, no, and no.Maybe we should create a new forum for spam... Raised by a family of Griffins in the forests of Llanowar, this young mage is rumored to be the sole male born of the Serra tribe.

I think that was what the old ministry of information was for, but nobody used it as such... we didn't get much spam back then either. I guess it makes sense for the off topic to be spam... but that's yardistan, which actually has culture. Maybe I should make the off topic an actual forum, and give a link to yardistan within it rather than just the link to yardistan as the whole forum... Re: 2008: A World at War
It occurs to me...now that we don't really get into conflicts with other micronations the military's just sitting there doing nothing, right? And idiots spamming us is something we don't like and a violation of our laws and our border security, right? And spammers consistently give us links back to their "home base" forums and really don't know enough about us to be able to get us in trouble if we attacked them (although of course in a nice, nondestructive way, at first) Perhaps someone could create an anti-spam branch of the military that would go to spammers' forums, teach them a lesson, and then demand something or other from them in exchange for our time......or maybe this is one of those ideas I need to wait until morning to think about.

Re: 2008: A World at War
Well, I took on the Engel242 case and I want to take on this one... how about something like this? Quote:You invited us. You came to us and delivered your message, telling us to come to you. And here we are. But before we help you realise your dream, let me ask this question... what have you ever done for us? Have you ever fought by our side against the villainous Thomas Hubert of Many Faces? Were you one of those who made great sacrifices in the Battle of Cimmeria? Have you ever even done so much as given a single contribution to help in the eternal fight against the Plague? No.You have never helped us.You have never cared for us.You are not one of us.I do not know if you have even payed enough attention to know who we are. So let this be your test. Come back to us, care about us... and maybe we will have a reason to care about you.Personally, I find it rather unlikely that you will be able to convince any of us anymore. And BTW, it's spelled "Discussion", not "Discusion". Haha, you dontn' no who Peter Little am? King of the one-liners, the guy who used to answer everything with "Yes" or "I agree to the above", except not with such good spelling. I believe he was the inspiration of some textual initiatives in Baracao. Little?? I don't remember that. I thought he was nice if naive. Since everything is but an apparition, having nothing to do with good or bad, acceptance or rejection, one may well burst out in laughter. - Longchenpa
