Medieval theme. Wow, knights screwing damsels. That about sums up real medieval for you.And the Crusades. Christians muderning Arabs and vice-versa. I am an Arab, I don't like that part of history. So I came up with Arab dragons. It worked. *shrugs* It's the only thing i've ever done in mn's that DID work...I'm not good at writing stories. I've tried, gotten a few chapters, and then it just goes limp. I contribute to culture through my artwork. It's the only way I can express myself. If I can't do my art, and I can't participate in the government, then I have no reason to be in Shireroth.

And to Erik, I am NOT trying to dictate Shirerithian culture. You, me and everyone else knows that it cannot be dictated. It's already too screwy to be dictated like a normal culture. I'm trying to contribute to it the only way I know how.I see rather outdated forums, compared to places like Babkha, Baracao and so forth. This place looks like Slobovia for god's sake! And I wanted to help with that, cause i'm one of the few people that know how to do all that fancy shit. But everytime I do, people get all bitchy and say i'm trying to "dictate" Shireroth. I am not trying to dictate, i'm trying to help improve it.Three years of the same damn thing is too much. Changing a few graphics and HTML here and there is not going to kill the nation, it is not going to lead to some uber-culture fest, and it certainly isn't going to dictate anything in Shireroth.

I don't give up...The banner needs to go...this is not shireroth...we don't do banners here, hasn't anybody noticed...The background...well I could care less, but I want my evil elf back...the one we have now is really..well..i don't know what it is...I can't tell...Erik did a wonderful job of patching this place up after Alexandros, and with the exception of a few odd colour changes, it looked like it did when I joined micronations about a more than 2 two and one-half years ago ago. Shireroth is one of the oldest active micronations in existence. As and elder, I've come to appreciate the nation the way it is and has been. We elders have pride in our creation. This land is a historical one, and thusly we like to keep it historical.We also don't appreciate the sudden throwing out of the culture that we have slowly created...I can't force you to go back, but you should...you are angering elders and gods... It's been there since the nation was founded.. its like tearing some some really old historic tree or monument because you don't like how it looks.. or it blocks your view of the lake...
