Yeah, but then you'd have to mess with the genes... which I don't think we can do. Besides, then the maturation rate wouldn't be a problem either. The maturation rate would still be a problem.. it would still take at least 14 years for it some come to the right age... Kaiser Letifer Alcadian H'Graa I of ShirerothI feel the blood flow through my veinsThe life force shines on me again Let the ritual begin- you will pay for your sins

Consider the level of development of this lifeform we call Hubert, we can just pull his hands off and put them into a liquid with the necessary nutrients, just as we would deal with starfish. Then we'd get two new Huberts and one Hubert with a new pair of hands. I am Yuri.

Re: phone wars
Yes, yes you can. It is probably the efficiency of these types of nations that cause them to be so short lived. They get things done really quick, leaving nothing left but maintenance after the first 2-3 months. Look at any nation really. They have lots of things to do. They spend the first 2-3 months doing those things, then another month maybe on random shit that goes with it. Most things are resulting from the creation/merger of the nation. Then, people get bored. All that is left is to maintain the nation. Some solve this by going OT, some by making work for themselves, some keep trying to expand. Most die, or merge and thus start over. It's not a matter of being short lived and immature, or long lived and mature. It's short lived and burned out, like a star. White Dwarf or whatever. They live really short because they burn out fast, while a red giant lasts ages. It burns slowly, and thus is the long lived nation perhaps. Both are just fine as nations, they have different style, different goals, but they are both just fine.==Erik Metzler

Re: phone wars
or you could just find someone with a teleportation device and program it to skip the dematerialization phase so you would end up with the original hubert and new one instantaneously spawned at the point of destination... but that would still require finding a teleportation device... and I haven't worked that much with ASTRO... which would be where I would put my development... Transporters... indeed... that would be useful... maybe not useful in duplication.. but maybe we can make something like the transport rings in StarGate and Stargate SG1.... hmm.. perhaps we could see if we can make stargates... Naquidria is unstable though..... It's why the XO3 didn't work right in warp testing.... It was to unstable...I like the staff weapon he uses... it's damn cool.. like him... but looks hard to use....I wouldn't mind a Zat myself.. they look to have a stun setting on them.. and..... they are single hand.. good side arm...Did you see the season finale a few months back? or I think it was.. it was the last new episode... They got themselves a nice big shit.. and Thor needs them.. Nasgard.. I think is his species... But.. that shit uses Naquidria for the Hyperspace Generator.... soo....... hmmmm maybe they figured it out.... Asgaard actually. Yeah, I saw it. Now I'm watching all of the monday repeats.
Re: Stargates?
I think we Menelmacari could help in whipping up a few Stargates... we use teleportation on a fairly regular basis. Anyway, the problem with using Stargates to get to other planets, like, say, Micro-Monde, is that you have to have a Stargate already in place at the other end. So you have to get there by more conventional means first. :) By my hand,~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~HIH Sirithil nos FëanorElentari of MenelmacarHigh Queen of the ElvesElder Arcanus, Hundland Mage GuildHiril of Hundland, TreesiaMenelmacari Prefect of the Economy and WarfareThane of Elwynn and Novi Dalmacija, ShirerothWoyzero Dejazmatch of Desta, AtteraAtteran Foreign Affairs-type ElfGovernor of Electrovenus, DelvenusReally just Nick Zeniuk~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"In place of a dark lord you would have a queen!Beautiful as the dawn, treacherous as the sea!Stronger than the foundations of the earth! All shall love me and despair!"- Galadriel, LOTR, Fellowship of the Ring, J.R.R. You don't seam to get StarGates.. they are not... magic based.. or even teleportation based... they create wormwhole to other planets.. and they can't really send anything big through...They are useful for deplomacy.. and some basic travel... but... you can't send large troops or such through....And yes... We would have to get there first..... But.. I think it would be worth while to create.... No, I know they're not teleportation- or magic-based, I'm just saying you could set up something incredibly similar using magic. Magic.. No.. No magic... I rather science and tech to magic.. Magic is fickle and requires that you be... "trained" in how to use your mind for it.. and only certain people can do it... generaly... no magic if we can avoid it..
