Re: ECONOMIC NOTICE TO SHIREROTH:
Believe it or not, I argue for my own amusement. As for the notion that a sudden transition would be incredibly shocking, I would have to disagree. People would simply notice that they suddenly get money for "work" they already do, or that they add on a transfer transaction to a line of "Hey, that ...

If you ever want to see me in real life, you'd better make any such Shireroth-con coincide with, like, E3 or the GDC. Las Vegas is also a good place for cons, as long as you try to claim the convention center in the off-season, or else you'll end up competing with something like CES or the ...

The key is not in establishing the correct system. The United States of America is as stable as the European Union (or was as stable before George W. Bush). It is just that a correct system will reinforce existing fundamental elements and complement existing activity. The reason why George W. Bush's ...

What are you trying to make Shireroth show up for in Google? If you are targeting the keyword "shireroth" in google, then that is the most pointless thing ever. Anyone who wants to look up the micronation of Shireroth probably either already knows where it is or knows much more efficient methods of ...

I am strongly inclined to agree with Erik.1) The money is coming from the goverment in the first place. It is absolutely pointless for the government to tax money it gives to people. The government may as well just plain give people less money and not even worry about trying to put a reduction on ...

I'm not really a Keynesian. I'd say I'm more of a "smartass" or "crazy boy." Keynes was certainly revolutionary compared to his peers, but he was only the beginning of macroeconomics. Furthermore, since he was the first of his kind, he made some mistakes when trying to simultaneously begin the field ...

I'm not freaking smart. I'm just motivated to teach myself. My intelligence in some areas is far below that of a normal student from mainland China who has to get information and theories drilled into his/her poor head every single day. Start with "breadth" requirements. That is, required classes that every student who wants a degree must pass. Of course, every single professor (or at least, every single department head and school dean) must agree that the required classes are useful in all situations. Then, let all the individual ...

I could easily ask the riddle, "Prove that in the formula a^n + b^n = c^n for all n greater than or equal to 3 has no whole number solution for a set of a, b, and c." That's most certainly not as fun to prove.EDIT: In fact, if you're interested in that riddle, the book "Fermat's Last Theorem ...

Believe it or not, reading and watching helps you write. Every time I reach a limit of the bounds of my creativity and the themes of my writing are locked at a certain level of thinking, I just go read a book like Frank Herbert's Dune or JD Salinger's Nine Stories. If you actually go try this out ...

Simply by laying down somewhere or eating food you are involved in the economy. Of course, it's your choice to stay out of Shireroth's economy, but I believe that micronational economies are harder to do really bad things to than real ones.

No. Paypal is directly linked to a real bank account. Unless you somehow manage to open a real bank account for Shireroth, which may potentially subject Shireroth to strange tax rules from your native country.

When the Mayans (or maybe it was the Aztecs) encountered days that they didn't want to exist, they had a lot of sorrowful weeping and human sacrificing. I'm pretty sure it was the Mayans, because one thing I remember that they did NOT do was pull people's hearts out; that was the exclusive territory ...

It's pretty hard to carry out Interactive Fiction if people don't respond to the IF topics, or even try to make their own.
