SHIREROTH NATIONAL SURVEYAnswer as honestly as possible. This survey will be used in the formation of proposals. If you write something other than what you really feel, then you will get something that you don't want. I am posting this survey and watching the responses in order that businesses and private individuals can see what economic sectors they can target and profit from. If they want to do absolutely nothing but have their names on our citizen roll, that's fine with me - I'd even say I'd prefer someone being an inactive citizen to their not being a citizen at all.What do you most want to learn?The fundamental purpose and order of the Universe.What do you regret learning?That the two dogs die at the end of "Where the Red Fern Grows". If so, what was it?More often than you can possibly imagine. But pointlessness isn't necessarily bad. It's the pointless end of a sword that allows you to wield it, as the ancients used to say.Do you think that people should conform to "the system," that "the system" should be made for the people, or that people and "the system" should always be struggling with each other in the search for peace and cooperation?In general? The system should be made for the people. In the particular context of micronational economics? Either that or a continual struggle.Do you like things that you are proud of the most, or things that were good for you the most? If your pride is what is good for you, then what makes you proud?Depends on how you're using the word "like", I suppose.Are royalty and professional titles things to be proud of, or so that you can quickly figure out what someone does?The latter, at least in micronations.To what extent would you do something for someone else for free? If not at all, then how much would someone have to pay you to get the time of day?To an absurd extent, if it was something I enjoyed doing. If it was something I didn't enjoy doing, I'd either need to be paid for it or have some other reason like that it was my duty.What would you be willing to do for all the money in the world?If you can rule out silly objections such as that if you had all the money in the world no one else could buy materials to produce anything and the money would quickly become worthless, quite a bit. People are always going to be different among themselves, so it would be too difficult to change "the system" for them. For everyone who says they want Shireroth to do more foreign affairs - eh? What exactly is MiniEx not doing that you think we should be? I don't want to go off and make treaties with nations that we have absolutely no contact or similarity with, and after we've got a treaty there's really not too much we can do.Further, foreign affairs start at home. If you want us to be more in contact with other nations, go visit some of them. Compared to a lot of places Shireroth has very few citizens who actually go out into the larger world. MiniEx has been keeping our EZRing at the bottom of the board very up-to-date...perhaps you might want to go look at some of those places and see how they're going.
