In Yardistan in order to give his most active citizen a reward for his activity, Gryphon created the Barony of Amity and Mirioth for Greg Russell. The Barony was Yardistan's first. It also absorbed the former Duchy of Straylight, making it into a barony as well.

(Straylight has since been re-established as a Duchy.)

The isles of Mirioth, Amity, and So-Sara are a tropical gothic paradise and the brainchild of Greg Russell. The islands are home to JASO, the main Cedrist Temple, and the Children of Mors. They are currently part of the Duchy of Naudia'Diva as part of the Barony of the Holy Lands of Shireroth with Yardistan and Naudia'Diva.

Amity has been home to technological advancement in micronations since the foundation of JASO. Notable events in its history include the Amity Crisis, when the Flying Islands of Jasonia and Shireroth nearly got into a war.

Amity also has had the unfortunate luck of being somewhere where the Babkhans like to direct their aggression, one such instance featured a convoluted plot whereby Ardashir Khan stole a flying island and unleashed chemical weapons on the island as punishment for Greg Russell's opposition to his conduct in Elwynn.

Mirioth has been home to first the B0O0/\/\ist faith, and then the Cedrist religion. It was also the religious center within Yardistan (and indeed, all of Shireroth) for quite a great deal of time. Currently, it holds the enigmatic and creepy Children of Mors.
