The Deep South is one of the cardinal direction regions of the Flower of the North. It is composed of the Princely Precinct which is known as the Emirate of Alalehzamin and Utasia and a former Bailiwick of the Kingdom of Amokolia called the Vale of Angularis which was transferred into the possession of the Emirate by an act of the Royal Parliament in 1638.

The region has been deeply scarred by the ecological crisis known as the Green Mortality as well as by human conflicts such as the Elfinshi War, the War of Vengeance, the War of the Wylthean Succession, the River War and the Anarchy of Angularis.
