Subsequent history is probably fictional. The United States of America is reputed to be the physical location of many of Shireroth's citizens. This macronation is colloquially known for its fast food chains, its impressive nuclear arsenal, and its strained global relations. Despite this, it does play host to some excellent non-fast-food, especially at the University of Delaware. More seriously, the United States is known as the world's oldest continuous republic, the most diverse economy and the powerhouse of industrial and scientific development over at least the last hundred years. America's liberal pluralism, freedom of spirit and opportunity for enterprise are the envy of the world, provoking much jealous ire from political zealots. It is also the host nation of Sonoma.
