The Capital of Turkey is a thread that is probably the longest thread in Micronational history. It started in Istvanistan years ago by Erik Metzler, and can still be found today. 'What is the capital of Turkey?" is a joke amongst many of the eldest micronationalists to this day.
The orginal thread was a question of what Erik Metzler had answered for the being the Capital of Turkey on his geography quiz freshmen year of high school.
Copy threads have popped up in many places, including Yardistan. It should also be noted that the original question ("What did I put on my geography quiz for the capital of Turkey?") remains unanswered to this date.
