Founder of Blackrock, which was a great empire under Shane Odlum. It once controlled Treesia.

He allied his nation with United Demesos in the Automatic War and the Demesosian War, both against Automatica.

In 435 ASC, Secretary-General Shane T. Odlum resigned from his position in Blackrock. He disbanded the nation, giving Automatica and Treesia as gifts to high-position Blackrock officals. The nation did't take it lightly, however, and went into anarchy.

what was at one time micronationalism's most prestigious prize, the Shane Odlum Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Excellence, was named for him. He was reportedly remembered very fondly by most of his former colleagues, some of whom he seems to have been in contact with as late as September of 2005.
