Verionsput

Verionsput is a fighting pit located in Shirekeep, used for the popular people's sport pit fighting. It was opened to the public during the reign of Kaiser Verion I and the Kaiser himself was also one of the sponsors and fans. The construction received its name because of the degeneration of the original name, which was Verion's pit or Verion's spit. Verion often spat on the fighters who had fought well or had shown extraordinary bravery. Since then, spitting became synonymous for the audience to show support to the fighter who was still standing (or had lost, but fought well).
