It's worth noting that most of these names were based on the names of active Shirithians at the time (for instance, Sera Steffke was based on Jason Steffke. While there was little chance of actual confusion between Shirithians and AnnMarie, after the whole incident was over everyone (at least Ari Rahikkala, the then-Baron of Straylight, which was where Shirlan was to be annexed under) was quite embarrassed.
