(NOTE:Some authorites consider this Decree and [[Imperial Decree 283]] to have been invalid. It is included here for the benefit of historians in the future.)

Issued by Steward [[Jacobus]] Loki Wed Apr 23, 2008

As Steward of Shireroth, Bearer of the Shield of Honor, I have no choice but to reluctantly take the following actions.

FIRST, Kaiser Hasan I is suspended from power. He has tentatively accepted power in Babkha (see the link below). One who has such power in another nation is a de facto citizen of that nation, and as such cannot be Kaiser of Shireroth. Any attempts to revise Shirerithian law by decree is hereby declared void.

I term this as a suspension, as there are possibilities that could resolve this issue. Until such time, I assume all Imperial power in Shireroth, and ask for the support of the nobles and people of Shireroth.

SECOND, there is a possibility that the coup in Babkha may be illegal. If so, we may be under obligation to assist the legitimate Shah of Babkha. I ask all Dukes to gather their forces as a precaution against all possibilities. I assume command of all Imperial forces.

THIRD, the current MoMA is suspended, pending resolution of the situation.

FOURTH, I offer Sfeir Jahangir Zsharri, Shah Rashiid and their associates sanctuary in Shireroth, pending events in Babkha.

FIFTH There are to be no aspersions of honor against any involved in the current situation. All those involved appear to acting out of reasonable motives. Myself included. However, it is my duty as Steward of Shireroth to preserve the independence of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth and to honor our obligations to our allies.
