IMPERIAL DECREE Nº 737
ON MY ABDICATION AND THE ELECTION OF A NEW KAISER

HIS NIFTINESS THE KAISER
I, Jacob Darylion-Verion, hereby announce that I will resign my office of Kaiser of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth. To ensure that my successor will enjoy the full support of the Shirerithian population, I will not name a successor and ask the Praetor to lead the vote on the elecion of a new Kaiser in the Landsraad.
My abdication will be effective the moment the Landsraad has elected my successor, and until that moment I will remain as Kaiser to ensure the public order in our nation.
Serving this country as Kaiser has been a great honour and something I count among the highlights of my political career in this great nation. It is my belief that I have left the Kaisership having passed certain essential reforms of our Charter, our economy and our governmental system.
It is my desire that Shireroth will continue to be a stable nation under the next Kaisers, building upon the foundation that has been laid in the period of my rule.
