The Free Batavians (Bataafs: Vrije Bataven) are a paramilitary political and socio-cultural organisation that strives towards a rebirth of the old Kingdom of Batavia. The movement is lead by former Batavian Prime Minister Joachim Mackay. The Free Batavians formed following the Shirithian annexation of Dietsland, which before that moment had served as a cultural and political "hideout" for the ethnic Batavian people.
