Daughters of Freyja

A Daughter of Freyja serving as an auxilliary to the Huskarliregementet a scouting mission in the surroundings of Vijayanagra during the days of the War of Vengeance.

The Daughters of Freyja is a sisterhood which is, since times ancient beyond the memory of woman, devoted to the Lady Divine Freyja. This secret society is one of the three Grand Mysterious Sisterhoods of the High Realm of Stormark and therefore has and enjoys innumerable ancient rights, privileges, pre-eminences, immunities, advantages and free customs. Ever since the Ducal Reign of Harald of Froyalan the sisterhood is also active in Elwynn. The Vanadís Chapter Hall is the headquarters of this Grand Mysterious Sisterhood.

About

As a secret society its activities, events, and inner functioning are concealed from non-members. All members of the Daughters of Freyja are sworn to hold the society's secrets by a sacred oath. The tradtional punishment for a member of the Daughters of Freyja who reveals any secret of the Grand Mysterious Sisterhood or anyone enquiring into the secrets of the Daughters of Freyja is having one's throat cut from ear to ear, one's tongue ripped out by the root and be thrown in a pit with acid.

Ranks The ranks of the full members of the Daughters of Freyja, i.e. those ladies who have taken the final blood oath to the Lady Freyja and gone through all secret initiation rites and rituals, are, in descending order of seniority:

• Lady Superior Mortal;
• Archsister;
• Mistress of Archers;
• Mistress;
• Lady Archer;
• Sister of the Bow;
• Sister.

The ranks of the preliminary members of the Daughters of Freyja, i.e. those ladies who have the simple blood oath to the Lady Freyja, are, in descending order of precedence:

• Akolyth;
• Novise.
