A Gyllmára Búlla is a legal and spiritual instrument issued by the High Priestess of the Thingeyri Temple.

Gyllmára Búllar derive their name from Gyllmára Wectasdóttir, who was the daughter of Lilja the Devout and the second High Priestess of the Thingeyri Temple. They are since times ancient beyond the memory of woman used to exercise the temporal and spiritual authority of High Priestess of the Thingeyri Temple and the Jólaslafðir.
