A smiley bomb is a type of DOS attack where you create a post with many thousands of images (usually smilies) that cause the thread the post is in to either take a really long time to load, or with some older browser and/or computers may crash the system all together. This was discovered (totally on accident) in the Republic of Istvanistan by Erik Mortis. For many months the creation of this simple but devastating weaponry was kept secret by B0O0/\/\ists until widely becoming public knowledge. With the advent of fast connection speeds, computers and more robust browsers, the smiley bomb has become obsolete.
