I hate ezBoard, you know that? Utterly and completely. My favorite roleplaying board was unavailable today because the connection kept timing out. Oh, it wasn't just me... everyone else was having the same problem. As for Shireroth, earlier this week I got a Server Maintenance Alert message while trying to get to it. I get one every week... every other day, it seems like. WHEN WILL THE MADNESS END?!?

Is Goldshire Screwed?

A new thread, showing the first signs of life in Goldshire for eons, is bringing forward the possibility that one of the original two Duchies may soon find itself carved up or demoted. Various players, including Elwynn, Kildare, Yardistan, and even Goldshire's subordinate Barony of Kitanus Fields, have been plotting over the somnolent Duchy, discussing various schemes to divide it up or take it over.

One leading suggestion at this point, put forward by the Duke of Kildare, suggests that Baron Darkstar of Kitanus Fields sit on the ducal throne for a week, wait to see if he is challenged, and if not to make Goldshire a Barony beneath a Duchy of Kitanus Fields. The Kaiser has yet to dismiss any plans, stating only that he will wait in the meantime; his spokesman has suggested that he may ask his Advisory Council for their opinions.
