Stjepan Stops In

Honorary citizen Stjepan stopped in at General recently, sporting a new login since apparently he can't access his old ones. Make sure to bug him and say hi... look for "Stjepan Veliki".

While you're at it, bug him to rejoin Shireroth. :p

A Good Idea to Reform the Ministries?

MiniEx Scott Alexander recently proposed that, in order to combat stagnation and general uselessness in the Ministries, a set of concrete goals should be laid out approximately every three months so that everyone would know what to work towards. In order to help with this task, he also proposed the creation of a position similar to Chief of Staff to coordinate this activity.

While welcomed by some, the Duke of Yardistan pointed out that much Ministry work depends on other people's participation, and that merely setting goals many not be sufficient. It remains to be seen whether the Kaiser wil weigh in on the Minister's proposal.

Don't Lose Your Census

The September/October Bimestrial Census is now open. Get yourselves over there and fill it out early! And please... when they ask for dates, put in actual dates where you can. Hell, I'm lazy and even I bothered to look up by first immigration date. Not that much trouble, folks!

The Secret of the Shah

It was revealed in the Harem in Babkha (see http://p202.ezboard.com/fbabkhafrm26.showMessage?topicID=709.topic ) that the three Shahs of Babkha, Babak Kapav Mehr, Ardashir Khan Osmani, and the current Shah, Tahmaseb Shah Abakhtari, have a strange and dreadful secret. Not only are the all the same person, but also an Olympic athlete on the French canoeing team!

Ardashir Khan has, in the past, been heard making comments like "There is only one Shah". Now it is believed that this is the reason for those remarks. Although the Olympic canoer's name has, in fact, been listed as "Babak Amir Tahmaseb" rather than "Babak Ardashir Tahmaseb", it is believed that this is a deliberate misrepresentation on the part of the Shahs (or Shah) to keep their (his) secret safe, and to shift the blame onto Amir Shervanis.

P.S. It only goes to show how starved for news we were to come up with this one. :p
