View from Benacia/Issue 51: KIRS Radio Hits the Air

A new radio station has been launched in Shireroth by Scott Alexander: KIRS, home of the radio show, "Everything In The Entire World In Under Five Minutes".

Scott announced the new show earlier today in General. The focus of the show is foreign events, bringing them closer to an often isolationist Shirerithian public; the show is kept short in order "to conserve both site space and your own time." Aside from its humorous style, the show also has advertising time for sale near the end of its broadcast, with most micronational currencies being accepted.

Let the Ousting Begin!

As promised, the Kaiser formally Ousted several of the Ministers today with Imperial Decree #149, filling the vacant positions with the expected candidates. Gryphon the Pure became MiniInt, Scott Alexander became MiniInfo, Erik of Brookshire became MiniTrade, and Fax Celestis, after being supported by Greg Russell, was name MoMA.

In a related story, some minor-level Ousting took place within the Ministry of the Exterior, with MiniEx Sir Iain de Vembria firing many of the Ministry's employees. Although once upon a time they had salaried positions, most of them were no longer performing their duties, and after conferring with former MiniEx Scott they were promptly removed. At the same time, Scott was made "Special Advisor to the Ministry and Ambassador/Emissary at Large", or "S.A.M.A.E.L."
