Due to a relative lack of major domestic news, we bring you a major foreign piece for the headlines: in a recent referendum held by the Atterans over whether or not to keep their Emperor, the Emperor won by what was said to be "an overwhelming margin of victory".

The Solomonic Empire of Attera, a famous/infamous force in the micronational world, has long been ruled (on and off) by Diga Makonnen, currently known officially as Mik'el Tzion I, Emperor of the Atterans. But his continuing role as Emperor was thrown into question when he announced his retirement late last year.

The Atteran people, by and large wishing to keep their Emperor, subsequently organized a vote of confidence in the Emperor's rule, the results of which His Serene Imperial Highness has reportedly promised to abide by. When the results of the referendum were announced yesterday, it was found that the Atteran people voted to retain the Emperor; thus it is expected that HSIH will retain his throne, although a formal statement from the Aarbat Imperial Palace has not yet been issued.

It is believed that His Imperial Majesty the Kaiser intends to go to Attera to personally congratulate Emperor Mik'el Tzion.

Return of the Old Radishar?

The return of Conglacio Geisteskrank to Shireroth and his old stomping grounds in Lac Glacei gave many Shirerithians a sense of return to normalcy, and restored their faith in their strange nation. And it appears that one day he may return to his old title as Radishar Baron. Current Baron Jacobus, upon hearing of the return of his former lord, made a Decree appointing Mr. Geisteskrank as his heir. Is a change to the old order around the corner?
