The treaty between the sides of the Cyberian conflict, having between them created a treaty acceptable to both sides, was presented yesterday in the Kaiser's Court for the signing ceremony. At the ceremony's opening, President James Conway of the Virtual Commonwealth of Cyberia expressed his optimism for the future:

"I stand up to this podium and address this Assembly of national and intermicronationl dignataries to assert that the long wait is over, that the dark days of conflict and despair are over, that after the long darkness of animosity and conflict between the people of the Commonwealth of Cyberia and of the Jacobist micronations can come together hand in hand a pronounce a final and lasting peace.

"We the Cyberian people have agreed to the terms and conditions of this agreement and it is my pleasure to announce that this agreement that I hold right here on this stage will put an end to years of conflict. The Cyberian people have asserted that they will never recognize a unelected and illegitmate Emperor as thier ruler but that they will recognize his concerns and offer a settlement that keeping this primary goal in mind is suitable to all aprties invovled. After weeks of painstaking negotiation we have arrived at the point. I hereby hold three pens for each of the leaders and representatives of our micronations to officially sign this agreement and end the era of conflict, violence, and darkenss once and for all and invite in the new era of hope and peace for all of our people.

"I give the first pen to Tim Dunkin and invite him to sign this treaty first.

"I give the second pen to the most right and honorable Kaiser of Shireroth (sic) to sign this treaty second.

"And lastly I reserve this pen to sign this treaty for my own nation."

Technarchus Tim Dunkin then took the stage. After putting his name to the Treaty of Shirekeep, he echoed President Conway's sentiments:

"This is an historic day, ladies and gentlemen. On this day, it has been shown that war, fighting, strife need not be the only way in which disputes between micronational entites are settled. Cyberia and the former RCC (which will have to be renamed!) have provided an example to other micronations that diplomacy and working together for a common understanding can and now IS a strategery which may bring about lasting peace between micronations." It is expected that His Imperial Majesty the Kaiser will be the next to take the stage and sign the treaty.

Kaiser Bestows Orders In Imperial Decree #145, Kaiser Raynor XI bestowed several knighthoods, probably for the first time since his reign began (I think?). Scott Alexander, Minister of the Exterior, was made a Knight of the Dragon for his service to the nation; and John Metzler III, the father of the country's founder, was made a Knight of the Chimera for his inspiration, both to said founder and his incarnations as Kaiser, and other citizens of Shireroth; it was also pointed out that he has, indirectly, provided financial support to the nation and is generally nifty.

It seems that, in accordance with this, John Metzler III University has has a slight name alteration, now being called Sir John Metzler III University.

Benacian Plurals Explained Shyriath, Duke of Brookshire and Count of Benacia, has made a new post describing the revised plural formation scheme of the Benacian language. Like anyone outside Benacia cares. :p

Furriner News Out in the micronational world at large:

- former micronationalist Ryan Caruso has decided to publish articles on the many micronational ideas he's had throughout his career in a Micronational Exposition. The articles are expected to start coming in the coming weeks, and to continue throughout the holidays.
