View from Benacia/Issue 29: Barony of Alexandretta Revived

In Duchal Decree 019 (http://p211.ezboard.com/fshirerothfrm17.showMessage?topicID=126.topic), Duke Shyriath of Brookshire formally reestablished Alexandretta as a Barony. Restoring its previous borders on the MCS map and adding Muad'dib to the Barony's territories, the Duke also announced former Baroness Alexandretta as the head of the Barony, an unsurprising move given Fax of Muad'dib's stated position of the subject.

One of the more unexpected provisions of the decree, however, was the adoption of an odd stance toward Alexandretta's Landsraad votes: the Baroness will be given only one of Brookshire's ten distributible votes, although if the Barony proves itself active after two weeks, this number of votes will be increased to two.
