Jacobus, longtime chimera of the micronational world, lately citizen of Shireroth, and also leader of one side in one of the longest-running micronational conflicts I know of (not that I know of many), may be giving Shireroth its first new acquisition in many a year.

Jacobus, aside from being Emperor Emeritus in Lac Glacei, is also Emperor of the RICC, which stands for something I'm not sure of, but is definitely one claimant in a long-standing dispute over the rightful bearer of the name Cyberia. The RICC is opposed by what can be more definitively identified as the Virtual Commonwealth of Cyberia. A break in this long war came with an announcement by Emperor Jacobus that the RICC might be willing to be absorbed into Shireroth under the name Cighberia. Creation of an accession document is underway, with the apparent location of the new subdivision to be placed in the Barony of Lac Glacei.

Attempts by Baron Oz of Hallucination to convince Jacobus to join and make Halluci a full Duchy has apparently angered his liege lord the Duke of Kildare, who said in response, "Alternatively I could crush you back down to Lord so fast, your head would spin. Rebellious arse."

MiniInfo Returns!

In Imperial Decree #142, Kaiser Raynor XI authorized the splitting of the Ministry of the Interior, in which all previous functions of that Ministry other than forum maintenance and archiving would be invested in the revived Ministry of Information. All departments under the former Ministry have also be transferred to MiniInt.

The newly formed Ministry will be headed up by the former Minister of the Interior, the Duke of Kildare. Meanwhile, the reduced Ministry of the Interior is now headed by the Duke of Goldshire, and will be responsible largely forum-related matters.
