Recwar

Recwar (derived from the terms 'recreational' and 'warfare'): the term is used to describe a process of free-form roleplaying in which 'combatants' described the imaginary actions of their imaginary armies engaged in an imaginary war. The legitimacy of this form of roleplaying in micronationalism is often supported by entities that see micronationalism as a hobby or a game, and derided by those who see micronationalism as something more closely linked to concepts of nationhood. This debate about the legitimacy of recwarring is but one symptom of the ongoing debate about micronational seriousness and what exactly constitutes a micronation.
