RPG Maker is a program used by many people, including Harvey Steffke and Bill Dusch to create RPGs for the PC. The premise is to create a simple environment where users can quickly and easily construct a video game without the hassle of coding battle systems or overworlds, or even creating your own graphics, although all of those can be accomplished. The latest version of RPG Maker as of the writing of this article is RPG Maker XP, which introduced 32-bit color graphics and the Ruby Script coding system.
