Jasonia Day

One of the many official holidays that have persisted in the state calendar of the Imperial Republic long after the death of even the memory of why the occasion should be celebrated. The Flying Islands of Jasonia were founded in 1441 AN. It has been suggested by some, in view of the sometimes complicated relationship with that realm, that the day on which the flying islands finally fell into the sea, leaving no survivors, should be celebrated instead. This proposal is under review.
